Thank you for bringing that up, as I forgot to mention on my article that aesthetic treatments also have no effect on lipedema–that includes coolsculpting, endermologie, laser lipo, etc. In fact, coolsculpting has actually damaged the tissue in some lipedema patients, causing the fat to harden, or in some cases, causing adipose hyperplasia (the tissue actually gets bigger instead of smaller).
